πŸ˜’ Windows 11 shows ads in File Explorer for some Insiders

:information_source: The latest Insider build shows ads in File Explorer for some Insiders. The β€œad” is a panel that appears above the file listing but below the address bar. It looks like a :warning: warning to grab users’ attention, and invites to try Microsoft Editor.

You may have already seen something similar in Windows 10. There, it was possible to disable it.

:money_mouth_face: Microsoft is on the way to maximize its revenue from Windows. Such ads appear here and there, in Office, in notifications, in the browser, etc. The new inbox Clipchamp app joins the party by doing nothing useful without a paid plan.

:crossed_fingers:t2: The File Explorer feature may or may not be included in the final version of Windows 11 22H2. Microsoft may cancel it after series of experiments.
