How to Uninstall Microsoft Edge Browser!

As you can see the guy is saying that you CAN NOT remove MSEdge. Oh really? I uninstalled it :tipping_hand_man:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\

Still in File Explorer, open the file folder with the Edge version number.

Go to your version and then into “Installer” directory.

Shift+Right Click → Open PowerShell.exe

.\setup.exe --uninstall --system-level --verbose-logging --force-uninstall

Wait 1-3 minutes and you’ll see MS Edge is vanished

Enjoy :+1::heart:

this will break taskbar/startmenu web search results though, dont uninstall edge if you are using search results

Great. You can also have another way here.

  1. Open file explorer.

  2. Go to from C:\Users %username%\AppData \Local\Packages from address bar.

  3. Delete Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe folder.

  4. Now, Press Windows key + X key together from the keyboard and click on Powershell (admin)

  5. Copy, paste the command given below and hit enter key.

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers -Name Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml” -Verbose}
Let the command get executed fully. wait for some time.
