I split large files to help members with slower connections.
The size of split files varies with the total size of the course/share. These split files tend to be either 500MB (for smaller files) and 2GB (for larger files), sometimes even 5GB for extremely large downloads.

what if the total size of the file is 25gb? Would you be okay to download 50+ files?
At least those would be downloadable.
Not everyone has broadband connections or stable mobile internet connections.
So in order for everyone to benefit from the shares, smaller file size is what I believe is good.

I would love the idea of smaller downloads (like that of Zippyshare’s 500MB limit) since I have a slow internet connection.
